No. Competitions are completely optional. You can use the BankinVideos app without entering any competition.
Users upload videos to a competition. Once all entry spots are filled, the competition is locked in, the final group of videos is confirmed, and the competition starts.
When a competition is locked in, the final group of videos is confirmed and no additional entries can be added. This ensures every video in that competition begins at the same time.
Each user's viewing time will be credited up to the full video's length of watch time to an entry during a competition. Watching portions of a video multiple times, replaying a video, or repeatedly watching the entire video will not increase the credited watch time beyond the video's total length for that viewer.
Winners are determined by the highest total credited watch time accumulated during the competition period.
The tie-breaker rule applies only to the winning placements. If a winning placement ends in a tie, only the tied videos advance to a two-hour tie-breaker event. No other tied entries qualify. The video that accumulates the most watched time during the tie-breaker event is declared the winner of that placement.
After the competition ends, winners are notified through the app. BankinVideos provides available payout methods options for receiving competition award payouts, and winners can choose their preferred method to receive their winnings.
